Coaching Profiles: Adam Wiss (Volunteer)

Former White House Blue Devils linebacker Adam Wiss is a volunteer assistant coach for the 2015 varsity season.

Wiss is a doctorate of pharmacy student at the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy in Nashville, in his third year of a four-year program. He spent the first two years in Memphis before a new campus opened in Davidson Academy. After graduating 2008 at White House as an all-county and all-region defensive player and senior team captain, he played five years (one redshirt) at Cumberland University in Lebanon.

There, Wiss was a linebacker and two-time Daktronics NAIA Academic All-American in 2011-12. He graduated in 2013 with a bachelor of science in biology. He is scheduled to graduate pharmacy school in 2017.

This is his secowissnd year to serve as a volunteer assistant with his alma mater and has spent various time in the summers helping at WHHS while in college. Adam lives in Gallatin with his wife Darcy. They married in 2014 and she is a school-based therapist. He will be attending school this fall and coaching SAM linebackers and running backs at WHHS.
